On the Devon Somerset border there is a little visited neck of the woods, known as the Blackdown Hills.
On the western escarpment of these hills is the old mining village of Blackborough
On the northern edge of the village of Blackborough, there is a young woodland, planted in 2009.
Within this woodland is a clearing with a fire in the middle.
Around this fire is plenty of room for a half dozen tents.
There is a tap, with treated spring water, and there is a Thunderbox compost toilet.
Simple off grid living for cyclists and walkers.
Bring your own supplies, take what you don't use.
