About
This captivating Victorian folly resembles a tiny turreted castle perched on the hillside overlooking historic Eyam. Two thirds of Eyam's population was wiped out during the Great Plague. Trace the tale as you wander around the village, or enjoy the excellent walking around the surrounding White and Dark Peak. Delicious home-cooked meals are available at this fully licensed hostel, a great location for cheap weekend breaks and Peak District activity breaks.
Need To Know:
The hostel has limited self-catering facilities.
Manager Recommends:
Take the walking trail around the village to discover the tragic history of Eyam - an interesting history lesson for a family weekend break. YHA Eyam is an ideal location for cheap breaks and as the hostel sits on the boundary of the White and Dark Peak there’s lots of excellent routes for a walking holiday.
