In the centre of Hatherleigh, very close to pubs and eating places. On the NCN27, near the NCN3. We only take one booking at a time, so no sharing. Bikes are stored safe and dry in our flagstone hall.
What's so special about Raymont House Bed and Breakfast? Well, for a start we provide accommodation for only one party of guests at a time, which means that you won't have to share the house with other guests - you will have the private bathroom and lounge dining room to yourself. We can take a single person or anything up to a party of four in two rooms with single or double beds. Deborah and Steven pride themselves on giving their guests their undivided attention when it is required.
Secondly, Raymont House itself is rather special. It's a spacious and attractive grade 2 listed town house with a long history of adaptation and refinement. The Georgian facade hides what was probably a collection of four ancient cob cottages with an alley between. The alley is now our hall, and the old cob walls are still there, and this where you can safely store your bikes.
Hatherleigh is at the central point of the Devon Coast to Coast route along the stunning NCN27, and has proved a great stop-off for LEJOG / JOGLE riders on their epic trips north or south.
