Airidh Dubh is a simple and welcoming family home, situated on a croft, surrounded by stunning views of lochs, hills and abundant moorland from every window. Situated just over a mile from Lochboisdale, on the Isle of South Uist. The ruins of the original “Airidh Dubh’ (Black house in Gaelic) add a sense of mystery and drama to the already captivating landscape. One important resident is Mhorag, our German Short-Haired Pointer - she's very friendly!
There are two large bedrooms, each with a double bed. Upstairs there is a toilet & handbasin, whilst downstairs there is a large bathroom with full size bath and shower. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge. Refreshments on arrival (usually home baking) and the option of an evening meal if booked in advance. Both rooms have tv, wifi, hairdryers as well as a well stocked hospitality tray.
