Tilmangate House is an early C17th Yeoman farmhouse nestling in a quiet corner of Kent, "The Garden of England". This lovely farmhouse is a great place to stay and explore the surrounding countryside.

The location is ideally placed to explore the North Downs and the Weald, from the picturesque villages of Lenham and Sutton Valence to historic Leeds Castle “The Loveliest Castle in the World". Follow the Pilgrim’s Way along National Cycle Routes 17 and 18 from Rochester to Canterbury through the stunning Kent countryside, maybe stop at one of the many of the excellent pubs for a traditional ploughman’s. The variety of routes through the true Garden of England is unending you can take in the 42 mile route from Ashford to Tunbridge wells which runs on small country lanes through the High Weald or merely ramble through the quaint villages of Pluckley, Goudhurst and Tenterden.
After a long day, retire back to our sunny terrace and take in the view of the Kentish Weald, maybe even work out where you have been. On colder days we can light a fire in the inglenook fireplace in the Guest sitting room or you can take a luxurious bath before walking to the local pub for a delicious dinner. Accommodation is in a double room with access to a private bathroom with walk in shower.
We include a full English breakfast to start your day, we use local produce where possible with fresh free range eggs, bacon and sausages from a local farm in Smarden, tomatoes in a good season from our own garden.
We have secure garaging for bikes and off street parking for 2 cars.
