Powys Pods

Located just off NCN route 825 (the 'Radnor ring'), we are at the perfect location for a stop-over at the end of a long day. Our camping pods and site are well suited for cyclists.

Powys Pods is a rural retreat hidden away in the Welsh Marches on a working organic hill farm. We provide an alternative to the traditional camping experience without losing the back-to-nature appeal that so many people seek. Our site is a perfect base for walkers, pony trekkers, mountain bikers, bird watchers, astronomers and for those who just want to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. Evenings can be spent relaxing, cooking up a feast on the barbecue or roasting marshmallows around the bonfire pit, all whilst enjoying some beautiful sunsets over the valley. You may even be lucky enough to see a red kite gliding effortlessly overhead in the summer breeze, or have the opportunity to gaze up at a clear night sky and look at the stars.

Our larger pod, Bryn-Gwyn, can sleep up to 5 adults, and our smaller pod, Allt Dderw, can sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. We also have a Microlodge which has 2 beds already waiting for you (just bring your sleeping bag and a pillow)! These all have electricity, heating and free Wi-Fi internet. There is also space available to pitch up to 3 tents below the pods, which is ideal if you are part of a larger group.

Bike rack (please bring your own lock), hose/pressure washer, large undercover area, BBQ, drying room, campbed hire.
