Spirals Bed and Breakfast - Situated on the Southern Slopes of Glastonbury Tor offering stunning views of the Somerset Levels and an amazing view and proximity to the Tor!
Spirals is situated on the southern slopes of Glastonbury Tor in lovely Ashwell Lane with easy access to the Tor and nearby walks to Chalice Well, Gog Magog and adjoining countryside. The house was built in 1935 and has recently been renovated with beautiful wooden floorboards throughout, a large light and airy living/dining area with a woodburner where we serve breakfast.
From the living room and bedroom windows looking south over the Somerset Levels you can frequently view local wildlife. Deer, Foxes, and birds such as Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Swans, our local Robin and from October to April the daily fly by of the famous local Starlings that pass in their thousands on route to their nightly roost on the western levels.
We are a TV free house so it's a great place to read, write and be creative. We have free wireless broadband if you want to use your laptop online.
We provide good maps of the area as well as information on the best places to eat and visit locally
