The Pennine Cycleway is not a route for the faint hearted. For those who love to gobble up contours it provides a superb way of cycling along the spine of England.

The route ducks and dives up the Pennines presenting incredible vistas of the surrounding countryside, including the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland National Parks.

There are many towns and villages to rest and replenish and the route is fully signed as Route 68.
