The site is certainly practical and easy to use. I tested it using an iPad and an iPod (because I use those devices when touring – they are wi-fi models only – no 3G) and the site automatically showed the portable device version. When I switched to the desktop version (using the iPad) the map displayed, showing the locations of the various accommodation sites with click-able icons (to provide a more detailed map, or email address or website of the establishment). The desktop version also provided the option of searching for individual types of establishments (B&Bs, hotels, campsites etc).
It’s a great website with a good variety of accommodation sites, and will presumably collect more entries as time goes on. A nice touch is that some of the proprietors of the accommodation sites mention their cycling experience and indeed have had cycle touring experience (and therefore, presumably, have a good idea of the needs of cycle tourers)
